The Hood Canal’s protected waters are ideal for kayaking beginners, novices, families, and seasoned paddlers alike. Five single kayaks and one double kayak are available to rent by the hour, or schedule a kayak tour with our Marine Biologist to learn about the local marine environment and the fish and wildlife that make the Hood Canal their home. Clam digging, crabbing, and oyster shucking tutorials and equipment rentals are also available. We regularly launch kayaks from Point Whitney, Pleasant Harbor, Seal Rock, Yelvik's Boat Ramp, Dosewallip's State Park, and Triton Cove.
